ICF foundations, Henry Blueskin VP100 air barrier and mini-split heating and cooling.
Real energy efficiency starts below grade and behind the siding, not just at the windows. We build insulated concrete form (ICF) foundations on select new-construction and addition projects, where the foam forms stay in place permanently and give the foundation continuous insulation on both sides of the poured concrete.
Above grade, Henry Blueskin VP100 seals the wall assembly against air leakage and moisture far better than building paper alone. And inside, a mini-split heats and cools a single room without touching the main system, which is why they have become the standard answer for sunrooms and small additions.
Permanent foam forms give the foundation continuous insulation.
Self-adhered air and water barrier behind the siding.
Conditions one room efficiently without touching the furnace.
A tighter envelope means the furnace and AC work less.
